If you would like to participate in the work of the Voluntary Initiative and have access to the latest thinking and materials so that you can guide your customers to protect the environment. Then you need to support the VI Advisers Network.

The service includes
     Agronomist Briefs

VI research reports
The VI will produce a number of reports both typical research reports but also analyses and discussion papers. These papers will be made available to advisers and others at suitable stages during their development and when published.

VI presentations and conferences
CPA will be producing PowerPoint presentations to explain the Voluntary Initiative and its components to a wide range of audiences. These presentations will be made available to advisers. Subject to both demand and availability key staff involved in the VI will be prepared to speak at relevant member’s conferences.

VI training materials for agronomists
VI research has already identified that advisers do not know enough about environmental and application issues. CPA will be producing training materials to help fill this gap. For corporate supporters, advisers will also be able contribute to the design and content of these materials to ensure the materials meet their needs.

VI training materials for use with farmers and operators
Training and advice for farmers and operators is a key component of the VI. Advisors will have access to the specialist materials developed by CPA to encourage best practice. Advisors will be able to participate in the highly successful operator roadshow as training providers.

Corporate Members Only
For corporate members who are expected to establish a closed network of members which can provide expert input and confidential comments to the signatories. Then there will be optional representation on all VI working groups and access to confidential briefing papers on VI projects on request.
What’s it cost?
To help cover the costs of involvement with the VI and the production of relevant materials there will need to be an annual administration charge. For Corporate organisations who represent more than five agronomists such as Morley and ADAS the charge will be £25+VAT per annum per agronomist. This lower fee is based on the assumption that the administration can be organised through one key contact for each organisation.

For individuals and companies employing less than five agronomists who do not belong to these organisations the charge will be £40+VAT per agronomist per annum.
